Hello from Belize. Yes we are still in Belize and back in Placencia. We have been doing a whole lot of nothing but playing cards and laying around. Life is great. Yesterday we got up the energy to go snorkeling and today we went for a run. I can hardly believe how much energy we have used in the last two days!!!!
To recap the last few weeks, we have travelled from Southern Belize to Northern Belize and back. We spent our anniversary in Belize City at a nice Bed and Breakfast. We spent New Years Eve on Caye Caulker and met up with our friends, the Wahbas, for a few days on the Caye. Spending time with our friends from Canada was wonderful. We were so sad to see them leave (I think we were both feeling a little homesick). Unfortunately while on Caye Caulker it rained for 5 days. However this allowed us to play Asshole with the Wahbas everyday. As you can see from the picture, Mark wore the asshole crown quite a bit. Today is our last day on the beach. We are a little sad but also ready to move on (although we sure are going to miss Ms. Beulah's coconut bread.) Tomorrow we take the boat from Placencia to Puerto Cortes Honduras. On Monday we fly from Honduras to Argentina to start our South American adventure. I can't believe our trip is nearly half over.
We hope everyone is doing well. Best wishes for a happy new year and someone, please come visit us!!!
Love Meighan and James

James, I've enjoyed living vicariously through your notes. Can't beat the clear blue waters off Belize.
I assume you'll be flying out of San Pedro Sula - watch yourselves in Honduras particularly in SAP.
I look forward to the news of the new territories.
