Oh the beach ... the sun ...the year away from winter

Hola!
We have spent the last couple of weeks along the southwest coast of Mexico hopping from beach to beach, starting in Puerto Escondido and ending in Puetro Arista. We had great ocean views from our cliff perched cabanas and our beach front hotels rooms. We were able to watch some fantastic sunrises and sunsets. And besides swimming and laying in the sun we were also able to do some snorkeling. For those of you who know my swimming and head under the water ability, it was quite rewarding for me. In Puerto Arista we stayed at Jose´s camping cabanas, run by an interesting Canadian who has been living in Mexico since 1974 ... enough said! Jose prepared great meals at night and we were able to take his Canadian Spanish made Canoe (tipio indio in spanish) out on the estuary at the back of his property. A home for caimans, turtles, boat billed herons and numerous other types of birds. It felt as if we had entered a National Geography documentary.

Another highlight was driving around the town of Tehuantepec in the back of a motorized tricycle... just like all the awesome matriarchs of the community. The ´motor carro´was pretty fancy as you can see from the picture.
We are currently in the mountain city of San Cristobel de Las Casas in Chiapas. We plan to leave Mexico and head into Guatemala in the next couple of days.
All is well and Ruby is still running tip top. Hope everyone is enjoying November (snow?) at home!
Go Riders!

Hello,

Friday is here! Whew! The weeks are slipping by so quickly - didn't even realize how close we are to Christmas!

We are awaiting the Western Final between BC and SK on Sunday. We were at the BC Calgary game on the weekend! What a rush!! It is a great time to be a season ticket holder.

We are heading to the rodeo, next Friday, at the annual agribition. We got tickets in box seats - drinks and food! Fancy!

Glenn's staff Christmas party is on the 24th - so we will have a busy weekend!

The weather has been beautiful - little bits of snow - nice:)

The pictures you have shared are really beautiful!

Miss you!

Hello,
We made it! Saskatchewan made it to the Grey Cup. They will play Winnipeg at Toronto. It will be a great day. 1st time ever a prairie Grey Cup Game. Sorry you guys have to miss it. But football or beach is kind of a toss up.

Leaving tomorrow for Agribition, should be a good time.

We woke up to snow yesterday and snowed off and on all day. Today it was warm and most of it melted.

Well hope you guys continue to have a great time and will let you know the outcome of the game next Sunday.

LOVE MOM
