Hi, Meigs
How's the spanish going? I am teaching French, I hope your Spanish teacher knows more Spanish than I know French. LOL. I was wondering if Ruby bucks like Becky did yet. I can just imagine you riding in Mexico all crazy like in a red car. Kinda brings back memories. Hey remember when Becky was hit and you had to turn the wheel to go straight? LOL I hope all is well! Take care Chandra
Sounds like you are having a blast! The pictures are amazing. They really allow us to see exactly what you are experiencing. I was hoping to take some Spanish here this fall but unfortunately it is on a night that doesn't work for me. Rylan had a volleyball tournament in Red Deer this weekend and it was depressing. The team is on a low and just can't seem to pick themselves up until.........last night when they player our across town rivals and kicked some royal butt. It was so exciting to see them actually play some good ball. They have another tournament in Calgary this weekend so we will what comes of it. Nash had his first soccer game on Saturday and he got an assist so was really happy about that. They won 4-1. We went down to Montana for Thanksgiving and stayed with our friends in their 5th wheel. We were invited out for dinner at their friends so that was really nice. On Monday we made a quick trip back to see the Roughriders kick some Stampeder butt. Oh how I love going to those games.
i love what you're doing. come visit me on the way back. i have a house now with a spare room for you kids. let me know when you're coming though so i can warn the neighbours about your beard. you might wind up in a net of some sort.
Hey guys! Steve White here. The trip so far looks like it's been amazing! Little Ruby just keeps on chuggin along! Gotta say I'm pretty jealous of heading south and not really knowing what the plans are. Looks like you're doing just fine. Turner, how long do you figure before that beard will contribute to sun stroke? I'm sure you realized that by now if you do shave it all off you'll hvae one hell of a tan line across that mug of yours! Anyways, been great reading about the trip and can't wait to hear about more! Take care guys, be in touch again soon.
Well, we woke up to a skiff of snow this morning - beautiful fall day!
Glenn has been working at the IPSCO shutdown for 14 days, now. He is done this Friday - thank goodness as he is very tired. Fourteen hour days are too much for my "old man".
Really enjoying my class at FNUC - we had a sweat planned near Dojack, last Monday. Unfortunately, I was planning a bit of volleyball with our senior boys and slipped on the gym floor - crashed into my left elbow and ended up at emergency with two hairline fractures - no cast - a sling, Tylenol 3 and Motrim - feeling much better today as I can now type with the use of my shift key!
Went to Estevan on Thursday night to be part of Maureen Ulrich's book launch - she was published through Coteau Books in Regina - the title of her book is Power Plays - it is about girl bullying and girls hockey. Katie and I made the trek down and we were able to visit with many friends - it was a very special time for both of us.
Work is busy with the onset of report cards, of course Halloween. We will be looking forward to the four day weekend in November. I think Glenn and I will slip away to Moose Jaw for a couple of nights - I think his body will be aching and he will need a good soak!
The pictures that you have attached to the blog really give a nice snapshot of your travels. I am intrigued by the skeleton figurines -
I'm hosting a pumpkin party on Monday - I had a zuchinni part in September - I made 10 different zuchinni items and then we had a taste testing - everyone went home with a cookbook! I know - zuchinni can be a very sensuous vegetable - this month the pumpkin. I've asked every guest to bring along 20 copies of their favourite recipe along with a taste for everyone. Should be fun!
Katie is keeping the coffee on at Stone's Throw and working through her classes. She is no longer taking voice lessons, but is still in piano.
GeoLyn is working in retail as a senior sales agent for LeaderPost. She has signed with Edge Modeling in Regina and will be on Renegede Press as an extra. She has a chance to work 2 - 3 times a week with the agency - good extra cash! We will have more results in November from her medical team.
Chris is continue to attend classes in architecture and autocad work - he has been diagnosed with Post Tramatic Stress Disorder and is now in counsellilng - thank goodness - he was really having trouble coping with his memories of Afghanistan and the POW camp in Cuba. Hopefully he is on his way to feeling like himself again.
Well...that's it! That's all!
I enjoy catching up with the rest of the family on your blog. I'm so with Helen on the "Go! Riders! Go" - we are heading to a home game on the weekend and then we have tickets for the playoff game on the long-weekend. What a season and what a good time to have season tickets!

James believes that Ruby bucks like Becky, but he has no idea what bucking really is!!
Glad to hear that Saskatchewan is still better than Alberta - go Riders!!
This morning James had like a cup of milk, that dripped from his cereal, sitting in his beard. It is beautiful!!
