Hey Guys,
We are in Tucson Arizona (yes a little detour) and heading into Mexico tomorrow. The last week has been a bit more extravagant than the previous few. We spent a couple days in the Sonoma Valley drinking wine and sleeping in a King size bed. The wineries were a lot of fun and we got to pretend like we know a lot about wine. A quick (3.5 hour) drive through Los Angeles and into desert country. We camped at Mt. San Jacinto state park (not near the forest fires although we did consider going there prior to learing about the fires) and have been doing some serious driving ever since. We decided to drive to Phoenix and then Tucsan so we could enter Mexico at Nogales. But let me tell you, Ruby sure is hot here in the desert. However, she is still roaring along quite nicely.
Thanks for the postings on the blog. It is so great to hear from everyone and to know that our friends and family are keeping a close watch on us. We will respond to everyone when we have a bit more time (we are always rushed when at the public libraries). Good to hear from you.
Love
Meighan and James
