Hey Everyone,
We finally made it to Seattle!! It took us a little longer than we had planned, as the ONE place we could afford to stay at was booked for the weekend and we ended up hanging out in mountains a bit longer. Things are going well and we have adjusted to life on the budget, James has even started stealing ketchup and mustard packets from gas stations and 'free' toilet paper from public restrooms. We are pure class these days.
While hanging out in the mountains, we decided to do another night of pack country camping at the Staircase State Park (crossing a river to get to our camp site). It was beautiful and as you can see from the pictures, we developed useful competitions for the purpose of entertaining ourselves. Oh ya and the slugs are HUGE!!!! We also found wild blackberries and despite a few thorn scratches, we ended up with quite a few that we have been enjoying with our oatmeal for breakfast every morning.

Seattle has been great so far. I think I am just enjoying being out of the bush for a while and being able to shower every day. Today we took in the Pike Place Market (salmon and other seafood being tossed around), had a fancy cup of java (thanks Chows for the coffee cards) and put on a lot of miles walking around downtown.
Anyway, will post some pics of Seattle next time. Sorry I couldn't get these pics to rotate ??!!
Keep in touch.

Nice work guys. So who came up with the "I bet I can kick higher than you" contest? You're so cool.
Hey Jimmy, what email address are you using now? All I have is your work email. If you have a new address, email me, k? I have a plan to save your hockey pool team.
Enjoy a package of mustard for me,
Dave T
